Dental Bridges

Missing teeth can create a number of problems, such as causing strain on the teeth either side of a gap, affecting how the upper and lower teeth bite together and creating hygiene problems if existing teeth subsequently move.

Fixed bridges can eliminate these problems and fill in any glaring gaps. They usually consist of false tooth positioned between two crowns, which are placed over the teeth either side of a gap. There are, however, a few different types of bridges so we will choose the most appropriate one for you.

Bridges offer a long lasting solution for missing teeth, providing you have a sufficient number of strong natural teeth and good bone support. After a bridge is fitted, you will need to clean it daily and pay special attention to the area under the false tooth.
